One thing

which is extremely important for any current or desiring red-head is choice of make-up.

This is a look where I believe both a dark eye and a statement lip can be worn together. One of my favourite go-to combinations for a copper hue is a good liquid eye liner, and a bright lipstick. Today, I'm featuring a long-time favourite of mine, Mac Cyber.

A word of advice however, for when wearing cyber:

Always prep your lips! this is a dark colour and does it stain!

I always like to lightly exfoliate my lips while in the shower, then apply a light, non-greasy balm. Once the balm has soaked in, lip liner is essential!

If you feel that cyber is a little too dark or "gothic" for you, try lining with Mac Magenta Lip pencil

This pencil brightens up cyber and is amazing for bringing out the purple/violet undertones the lipstick is famous for.
Once your liner of choice is applied, you are ready to apply your lipstick (I highly recommend checking your lips every hour or so for top-ups, as you will find they need to occur more frequently with this shade as opposed to others from the Mac range.)
